Music is off.
Music starts only when you press the speaker; press again to stop.
Experimental points: +10 for a useful meal, +8 for drinking, +5 for each stain removed.
A separate, optional community leaderboard; available only when the service is active.
Small footprints show recent paths. Rain washes them away; they do not change points or kindness.
Each new life contains four gradually blending zones: rocks and conifers, dense woodland, orchard and desert. They appear when you restart or a new month begins. Existing saved worlds stay as they are. After 30 seconds without your input, omino may collect available food and take it home. It uses only food present in the local world; other players and time with the page closed add no food.
The world starts with natural trees and rocks. Tap a category, choose a variant, then tap the ground; or drag its circle upwards. Choosing alone places nothing. The catalogue pauses the world and closes with ×, Esc, Back or a tap outside.
- Offer food inside the attention circle: once it lands, omino notices it and gives it priority. It gets hungry more often; if left in peace, it may approach, look at you and ask for food, water or rest
- Natural trees are part of the scenery. Trees you plant grow and provide wood; only one in four produces rare fruit at long intervals. Ponds allow drinking from the shore; houses provide shelter and may arouse curiosity: omino walks around them without entering the painted doors
- Placing a road clears trees and rocks only within its footprint, with a puff; Undo can reverse the whole operation. Rotate road modules with “Rotate” and join compatible ends. omino prefers connected paths, runs along the raised surface and hops up and down. Pillars and other upright elements remain obstacles
- Rain and sun activate wherever they land, even outside the attention circle and over scenery. Their symbols disappear immediately: rain lasts 12 seconds of active play, sun 15. They leave no stains.
- Place wood beside a fire: it lights automatically and consumes one block every 60 seconds of active play. Rain does not speed this up. The Fire row shows the percentage of fires lit; at night they have a faint halo
- “Remove” removes your placed elements and natural trees; “Undo” restores them when there is room. Natural rocks, objects in flight or in use, and the road under omino are protected from manual removal
- Drag the ground to explore and use “Centre” to return to omino. On touch screens, pinch with two fingers to zoom; on desktop, use + and −
- Energy, fullness, water and cleanliness each have eight dots. A low reserve pulses; at zero, the first dot is empty. With reduced motion, the warning stays still
- The grid prevents overlapping: an X means the space is occupied. Too many throws in quick succession frighten omino; let it calm down. On the keyboard, 1–9 and 0 select resources, and Space throws near omino when the world has focus
Pause stops time. Hiding the tab also pauses the music. This is a local simulation with no other players in the world. Progress is saved in this browser until the first of the month. “Restart” asks for confirmation.
A day lasts eight minutes: six in daylight and two at night. The halo keeps omino visible; offer a lantern from Objects and it can carry it lit. Hunger and thirst remain priorities.
The You arrow between Unkind and Kind describes your actions in this session: feeding, providing water and cleaning help; repeated throws or abandoned resources lower the value.
Life measures active time in the world saved in this browser: 8 minutes per game day. Disappearance counts real time until the first of the next month, in the Rome time zone, using the device clock. A new local life begins when it expires. The world does not advance while the page is closed; return in the same browser to resume progress. Deleted data or private browsing may prevent recovery.
